Manuel Alejandro Bordas Nina
Manuel Bordas is a managing and founding partner of the firm, an outstanding leader in the field of litigation and business consulting in the Dominican Republic. In the area of litigation, stands out for his role in advising and representing clients in high-profile corruption-related administrative matters, marking a significant milestone in the legal history of the country.
In the corporate area, Manuel represents large corporations in three key sectors of the national economy. In the financial sector, working closely with the leading company in credit and debit cards payments processing sector in the Dominican Republic. In the media and digital communication sector, he advises a media group that includes the most influential platforms in Latin America. In addition, in the construction sector, he provides consulting services to major construction companies of the country, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards of quality in their projects.
His career is marked by a constant commitment to excellence and professional development. As evidence of this, Manuel has completed the XXV Workshop of Negotiation and Persuasion in the Harvard Faculty Club, organized by Cambridge International Consulting, with the participation of leading academics from Harvard, as well as strengthening his skills in negotiation and persuasion.
Manuel graduated with honors from APEC University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Law. His academic training includes a specialty in Constitutional Justice of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, as well as master's degrees in Constitutional Law and Constitutional Procedure, Civil Law and Civil Procedure of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), and a specialty in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law of the Higher Institute for Defence (INSUDE).
In addition to his academic training, Manuel has expanded his knowledge by participating in various specialized courses, international conferences and seminars at universities, such as the University of Pisa, the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and the University of Salamanca, among other institutions.
Manuel is an active member of recognized international professional associations, such as the Inter-American Bar Association, where he was elected a member of the council at the 60th Annual Conference, being the younger councillor of this prestigious institution. He is also a member of the World Compliance Association, the Dominican Bar of New York, and the World Association of Constitutional Law, among others, actively contributing to the field of international law.
